A building site builder for the Miter station site in Hyderabad has developed a 2,000 sq.ft. site for the station, the first building site in the city.
The site, which was identified as the first in the district, is being constructed by the Mitter Construction Society.
It has a height of 1,200 feet and is one of the tallest in the region.
The Miter Construction Society had developed a 1,000-sq.ft., 5-storeys building site for its construction of the Mitevi-3 (the 3-storeyl building site) in March 2017, according to its website.
The Miter site was inaugurated on December 6.
It is the first site for Miter-3 in Hyderabadi.
Miter Station will be the station’s second station and will be connected to the existing Miter train station by the underground railway line.
The station will also be connected by a tram.
The development comes as the Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation (HMRCC) is looking to create more metro stations, a step that will ease congestion in the metro network.
The city has a metro network of only 1,500km, of which about 300km are in the northern part of the metro corridor, which is largely served by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corp.
